Car Wars 6th Edition House Rules

Vehicular Combat Labs House Rules (VCLHR):

1.) Build Structure: V.C. Labs build Structures have a Maximum Durability (MD).

2.) Durability: Durability (D) is the amount of damage an item can absorb before being destroyed.

3.) Tires: CW6E Dashboard

4.) Cargo: Items being transported. Cargo may not be equip to build. Builds may convert Build Durability (D) to (Cargo).

6.) Cargo Area: Cargo Area is used to store cargo. Cargo Area is considered an Accessory on Damage Cards when taking internal damage. All excess internal damage is applied to the Cargo Area if available.

7.) Maximum Durability: Maximum Durability (MD) is the maximum amount of Durability (D) a Build Structure can equip.

8.) Armor: Build Armor (A) is equal to the Total Build Points (TBP).

Motorcycles and Sidecars Armor (A) is equal to the Total Build Points (TBP) divided by (2) rounded Up.

Cars, Car Trailers (Mini, 6′, 10′, 15′), 20′ Buses, Trikes, Ten-Wheelers and Tractors Armor (A) is equal to the Total Build Points (TBP).

Car Trailers (25′, 30′), Buses (30′ and 40′) and Trailers Armor (A) is equal to the Total Build Points (TBP) multiplied by (1.5) rounded up.

Armor (A) value is the amount of damage a build can absorb before taking internal damage.

All Build’s Armor is distributed by the player.

9.) Suspension: Ten-Wheelers, Tractors and Trailers, Buses and Car Trailers can not equip CW6E Cards with the word suspension in its name, type or sub type.

10.) Tires: CW6E Dashboard

Motorcycles: Tires Slider is set at 5 on CW6E Dashboard.

Motorcycles w/ Sidecars: Tires Slider is set at 6 on CW6E Dashboard.

Trikes: Tires Slider is set at 8 on CW6E Dashboard.

Cars: Tires Slider is set at 10 on CW6E Dashboard.

Pickup (6), Van (6), Ten-Wheelers and 20′ Buses: Tires Slider is set at 12 on CW6E Dashboard.

30′ and 40′ Buses: Front Dashboard (Steer Tires) Tires Slider is set at 5. Back Dashboard (Drive Tires) Tires Slider is set at 10.

Tractors: Tires Slider is set at 15 on CW6E Dashboard.

40′ Trailers: Back Dashboard (Trailer Tires) Tires Slider is set at 15.

11.) Power Plant: CW6E Dashboard

Motorcycles: Power Plant Slider is set at 5 on CW6E Dashboard.

Trikes: Power Plant Slider is set at 8 on CW6E Dashboard.

Car: Power Plant Slider is set at 10 on CW6E Dashboard.

Ten-Wheelers and 20′ Buses: Power Plant Slider is set at 12 on CW6E Dashboard.

30′ Buses, 40′ Buses and Tractors: Power Plant Slider is set at 15 on CW6E Dashboard.

12.) Total Build Points: Total Build Points is a build’s build point total.

13.) Crew: All Builds must have a driver. Builds must have a gunner except motorcycles.

14.) Passengers. A Build may add Passengers. Passenger (1) Durability is included in the build’s Maximum Durability (MD). Passengers can not drive or operate any of the build systems. Passengers are considered (Cargo). Passengers may use personal Gear and Sidearms if equipped.

15.) Carrier: (Carrier) may be used to equip Turreted, Left, Right and Back firing weapons and or (Cargo).

16.) 1 CW6E dashboard: Cars, Car Trailers (Mini, 6′, 10′, 15′), Motorcycles and Sidecars, 20′ Mini-Buses, Trikes, Ten-Wheelers and Tractors use 1 CW6E Dashboard.

17.) 2 CW6E dashboard: Car Trailers (25ft, 30ft), Buses (30′ and 40′) and Trailers use 2 CW6e dashboards.

18.) 3 CW6E dashboard: Tractors with Trailers use 3 CW6E Dashboards (1 Dashboard for Tractor and 2 Dashboards for Trailers).

19.) Car Trailer Restrictions: Motorcycles can only pull a Mini Van Car Trailer. Motorcycles w/ Sidecar, Ten-Wheeelers, Tractors and Trailers, and Buses can not pull Car Trailers.

20.) Weapon Placement: No more than 1/3 of build’s Maximum Durability (MD) may be devoted to any one side of build – See 1/3 Weapon Placement Chart.

21.) Turreted Weapons: Subcompacts, Light Trikes, Motorcycles and Sidcars cannot mount Turreted Weapons. Compacts and Medium Trikes may only mount (2D) Turreted Weapons.
